Introduction

Peony Lane is a vineyard and wine brand located in the highest American Viticultural Area in North America. The business uses Pinot Noir grapes and natural winemaking methods to produce award-winning, high elevation wines that are free from harmful chemicals. Peony Lane markets itself as a Bitcoin company and champions natural winemaking processes and self-sufficiency—values that parallel Bitcoin's focus on creating a sustainable and healthy economic system.

I was brought on board this project to redesign the website as the owner wanted to take things to the next level by attracting a higher level of clientele.

The Goal

To create a professional and aesthetically luxurious website that is easy to navigate and that speaks to casual tasters and seasoned wine enthusiasts.

1. WIREFRAMING & DEVELOPMENT

The project began with a workshop session to understand the business trajectory and website functions. A collage mockup was then created to visualise some top level ideas, which was then refined into low-fidelity wireframes to map out the site's information architecture. Once we agreed on the wireframes I then proceeded with full development.
